Eight years ago, Fabio made Cabo Matapalo his home. Since then, he has managed several boutique hotels in the area, developing deep relationships with local communities and gaining an intimate understanding of the Osa Peninsula's landscape, culture, and way of life.

Living in this remote and nature-rich environment reshaped his perspective, fostering a profound connection to nature and personal well-being. Surfing became part of his daily rhythm, and Matapalo evolved from a workplace into a place of belonging. Osa Concierge was founded from this intersection of professional expertise and personal connection—designed to support property owners, empower local professionals, and offer guests authentic, well-curated experiences rooted in respect for the land and its people.

Mario is a local from Puerto Jimenez with a warm personality and a natural talent for making guests feel comfortable. He is highly service-oriented, charismatic, and always willing to help. Mario is currently learning English and enjoys practicing with guests, creating a relaxed and fun environment where visitors can naturally exchange both Spanish and English—or a bit of Spanglish.
